FreeThink participated in the AAPS Northeast Regional Discussion Group (NERDG) Annual Meeting, which was held in Queens, NY on March 31st. In addition to sponsoring the event, FreeThink exhibited and presented its latest technologies and innovations.
Technology Development Lead, Dr. Jennifer Chu, who was also a member of this year’s NERDG conference planning committee, exhibited alongside Business Development Manager, Dave Lucey. They were available to discuss how FreeThink has become the leading laboratory for solving complex stability and formulation challenges.
Senior Formulation Engineer, Jessica Kelly, gave a presentation on FreeThink’s new proprietary technology, OzmoCAP®, entitled “Osmotic Capsules for Preclinical Assessment of Extended Release Drug Delivery Feasibility.” The presentation can be accessed here.
Intern Samuel Applegate, presented a poster on a project he completed, along with FreeThinkers Jana O’Donnell, Dr. Ken Waterman, and Dr. Patrick Kelleher. The poster was titled “Accelerated Stability Modeling of Gelatin Capsule Disintegration Time” and showcased the team’s work on using advanced modeling techniques to predict the disintegration time of gelatin capsules.
